Philips Outdoor LED Batten - Tri Colour & Dual Power
Versatile Weatherproof LED Batten Light
The Philips SmartBright Outdoor LED Batten is a robust and flexible lighting solution. At the time of purchase, all you need to choose is the size that you require. Your preferred brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted on-site at the time of installation.
- Choose between '2 Foot' (65.6cm) or '4 Foot' (126.5cm) lengths. See the drop-down menu at the top of this page.
- Dual Power: Switch between 10W & 20W (2 Foot) or 20W & 40W (4 Foot).
- Five-year warranty - from a trusted brand.
- 50,000 hour lifetime - that's over ten years at 12 hours per day, 365 days per year.
- IP65 waterproof rating + IK08 high impact rating - suits any indoor or outdoor LED batten lighting application.
Adjust Brightness - Dual Power Switch
These Philips Outdoor LED battens have a 'Dual Power Switch'. With the flick of a switch, they can mimic either a single or twin-tube fluorescent batten.
- On the 4 Foot lights, you can switch from 40W down to 20W.
- On the 2 Foot lights, you can switch from 20W down to 10W.
The dual power switch also means you can maximise your energy-savings. For example, you can select the low power mode in corridors and other low-usage areas. Then, above workbenches (or similar) you can choose the brighter option for task lighting.
Here's a summary of how the Philips weatherproof LED batten light compares to older fluorescent lights:
|Philips LED Batten||Equivalent To||Energy Savings|
|10W ('600mm')||1 x 18W T8 or 14W T5 Fluro Tube||up to 60%|
|20W ('600mm')||2 x 18W T8 or 14W T5 Fluro Tubes||up to 55%|
|20W ('1200mm')||1 x 36W T8 or 28W T5 Fluro Tube||up to 55%|
|40W ('1200mm')||2 x 36W T8 or 28W T5 Fluro Tubes||up to 55%|
Change Colour Temperature - Tri-Colour Switch
One challenge when buying LED lights is choosing the right colour temperature. The Philips IP65 LED batten eliminates this issue as it includes three options with each fitting. The included tri colour switch lets you select the best lighting colour for your application. It also means you can better match the colour temperature of these new LED battens with any existing light fittings.
This Philips LED batten light includes three colour temperature options built-in (4000K, 5000K, or 6500K).
Popular installation locations for these waterproof LED battens include:
- Carparks, garages and wash bays.
- Workshops, sheds and warehouses.
- Building perimeter and outdoor security lighting.
- Building utility areas and plant rooms.
- Schools, universities and government buildings.
The IK08 'vandal protected' rating makes this light fitting suitable for installation in vandalism-prone locations.
