Power-Mate

The Power-Mate was the first widely available plug-in power meter available in Australia. The inventor Mike Russ appeared with the original Power Mate on the ABC New Inventors show in 2005 (you can watch it here).

The PowerMate meters are high-accuracy professional-grade power meters. We have chosen to stock the Power-Mate Lite (10A) and Power-Mate 15A models. These offer the best features and value in the expanded PowerMate range.

The Power-Mate meters have been sold under various brands including Hypertec, Cabac, and CCI.

Here is a list of the complete range:

  • PML10A - Hypertec Power-Mate Lite 10A
  • PM10A - CABAC Power-Mate 10A
  • PM10AHD - CABAC Power-Mate 10A Heavy Duty
  • PM10AHDS - CABAC Power-Mate 10A with Serial Data Output
  • PM15A - CCI Power-Mate 15A
  • PMPRO-20A - CCI Power-Mate Pro 20A 3 Phase Professional
  • PMPRO-32A - CCI Power-Mate Pro 32A 3 Phase Professional

Generally speaking, we do not recommend the non-stocked power mate items listed above. This is because large electrical loads are usually more cost-effectively monitored with a wireless energy monitor or kWh electricity sub-meter. Having said that, if you have a specific need for a non-stocked PowerMate please let us know via our custom order form. We'd be happy to quote you where possible.
