Choose Your Spitfire Variant

The Elumen Sunrise emergency light comes in two main options:

  1. The Standard spitfire is the most economical choice for standard installations. It suits standard testing routines and includes a 3-year warranty.
  2. The Self-Test spitfire offers assisted compliance testing and an extended 5-year warranty.

Here are the additional features of the Self-Test model:

  • Automated test schedule. The emergency spitfire light will test itself on a scheduled basis and record the results. You can adjust the test schedule in the app.
  • Quick results gathering. Each light connects to the Elumen app via Bluetooth for easy data collection and reporting. Simply walk past each light to gather results.
  • Compliance reporting. The app includes exportable Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) reports and a floor-plan integration.

Adjustable Emergency Classification (Spacing)

With Self-Test model you can also configure the emergency rating of each light from within the app to D25, D40, D32, D50, or D63. This means you can tune the lights to the space they are in, and ultimately reduce costs where lights can be spaced further apart.

  • The 'D' stands for the distribution class of the luminaire - how far the light spreads out.
  • The number (e.g., 25 or 40) represents the maximum spacing in metres that the fitting can be installed apart from the next fitting, under specific ceiling heights and conditions.

What exactly is a 'spitfire' light?

Is there a black / theatre version available?

Yes, the black spitfire for cinemas, theatres, and other low-light environments where a white finish isn't suitable.

Is the remote-access 'networked' option available?

The networked SUNRISE-LR variant is available for large-scale deployments. If you're interested in networked emergency lighting with remote testing and management across multiple sites, please contact us.
