Solar Powered Outdoor Motion Sensor Wall Light
This solar LED wall light from Philips is easy to install with no wiring or complex setup required. It's great for building exterior lighting, fences, driveways, carports, pathways, front porches, and backyards.
It efficiently operates all night thanks to the clever usage of a motion sensor to preserve battery life. The mode switch on the front of the unit allows you to cycle through the following four operating modes:
- Mode 1) 100% light output when motion is detected, then lights off when no movement is detected.
- Mode 2) 100% light output with motion detected, then 10% light output at all other times (when dark).
- Mode 3) 10% light output all night (motion sensor disabled).
- Mode 4) LED light and sensor off.
In modes one and two, the light stays on at full brightness for 18 seconds after detecting movement. If movement continues, the light remains on at full brightness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the light need to be installed in full sunlight?
For best performance, we recommend installing the solar wall light where it will capture at least an hour or two of direct sunlight each day.
It's also possible to charge the light in full sunlight for several hours and then use it elsewhere in battery-preserving Mode 1 for a few days or weeks.
