The Hue Amarant is designed for positioning on the ground or any flat surface to wash light across walls or garden features. Each Hue Amarant comes with a linking cable and T-connector:
Hue Amarant Components
- Placement: Designed to sit securely on any level surface, directly facing fences, hedge or other areas you wish to illuminate.
- Fixing: It has mounting holes on the metal light shield, which can be screwed to hard surfaces or staked into soil. Mounting screws or stakes are not included. See the manual in the specs table below for details.
- Integrated Cables: Features an input cable and output connector to easily daisy-chain this light to the nearest Hue 24V light or Hue power supply.
- T-Connector: Includes a T-connector to split or extend power between multiple lights.

What is the best use for the Hue Amarant?
The Amarant provides atmospheric feature lighting. It is best used to illuminate large flat surfaces such as fences, walls, or tall hedges. Its linear design and metal shield project light upwards and outwards, preventing glare while covering a wide area.
Can I connect multiple Amarant lights together?
Yes. The Amarant is designed to be daisy-chained with other Low Voltage 24V Hue lights. You can connect multiple units to a single Power Supply Unit (PSU) as long as the total wattage does not exceed the PSU's limit.
How many Amarant lights can I run on one power supply?
The Amarant consumes 20W. If you use the standard 40W Hue Power Supply, you can connect up to 2 units. If you use the 100W Hue Power Supply, you can connect up to 5 units.
