The Ledvance LED panel light is a bright and dependable light fitting. It comes pre-wired with a power plug and a 1.5-metre lead for easy installation. Choose Dual Wattage for standard installations or Dimmable with a dimmer switch.

These lights are often used in standard 120cm by 30cm ceiling lighting grids. They slot straight into most office buildings' T-bar troffer system. But thanks to an array of optional accessories, you can also install them in other locations, including:

• Suspended from the roof using this wire suspension kit,
• Flush mounted to the ceiling with this surface mount frame,
• Recessed into a plasterboard ceiling with this recessed mount kit.

Choose Dual Wattage or Dimmable

Both the Dual Wattage and Dimmable models allow you to adjust brightness levels. Here's how they work:

Dual Wattage. This standard Ledvance 1200x300mm LED panel has a user-selectable power switch. The switch optimises brightness and energy savings without additional lighting controls. The lower power level consumes 27 watts, and the higher power mode uses 33 watts to produce 20% more light.

When installing, choose colour temperature (left) and wattage between 27W and 33W (right). Note: the previous model used 30W and 36W for the same brightness.

Dimmable. If you prefer full-brightness control, choose the dimmable model for use with existing or LED dimmers. They're ideal anywhere dimming is required, like in households, studios, meeting rooms, or multi-function spaces.

Selectable Colour Temperature & Low Glare

Whether you choose the Dual Wattage or Dimmable model, you'll benefit from the tri-colour switch and low glare.

Tri-Colour Switch. The transformer has a switch that lets you choose between three popular lighting colours (see below). This switch removes the challenge of selecting the right colour temperate before purchase. You can tune the lighting to your needs or match it with existing lights.

Low Glare UGR<19. This latest model has a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) of less than 19. This lower UGR value helps reduce eye strain and headaches that some people experience with older or lower-quality office lights. 

The included tri-colour switch allows you to choose between Warm White (3000K), Cool White (4000K), and Daylight (5700K).

Does the LED panel contain LED tubes?

No - the LED components are built into the light fitting. Old troffer lights have tubes, ballasts, starters, and connectors - all of which can fail. On the other hand, these new LED panel lights are a single unit for simplicity and ease of installation.

They will last for a very long time - about 20 years under regular office hours. They come pre-wired with a power plug, so an electrician is not required to replace the light fitting if your ceiling already has power sockets.

How many LED panels should I use in an existing office fit-out?

For existing office fit-outs, a one-for-one replacement is generally suitable. Simply replace your existing fluorescent troffers with these LED panel lights. You can use the included power switch to adjust lighting levels as needed. For example, use the 27W setting in low occupancy areas and the 33W setting above desks.

How many LED panels should I use in a new office fit-out?

Generally speaking, we can say:

• About 8 LED Troffers per 100m² is adequate for low-usage storage areas and corridors.
• For work areas, a density of 12 or more LED Troffers per 100m² will achieve an average of over 400 lux, which exceeds Australian Standards guidance for office lighting.

Will this match my other LED Panels? How does it compare to previous models?

Thanks to the tri-colour switch and adjustable power levels, this panel can be 'tuned' to closely match most existing panel lights. This includes the 32W and 36W Osram and Ledvance LED panels we sold previously.
