What is Hue MotionAware, and how does it work?
Hue MotionAware transforms your Hue lights into motion sensors without any additional sensing hardware. It's for indoor use, and only accessible with the Hue Bridge Pro smart hub.
When someone enters a room, MotionAware senses tiny disturbances in the Zigbee radio-frequency that the Hue system already uses to communicate. All you need is three Hue lights in a room to activate this feature. Unlike regular motion sensors, you can tune their sensitivity and what time of day they operate from within the Hue app.
