The FLIR ONE Pro for iOS
This is FLIR's highest-spec third-generation device with numerous improvements over the previous FLIR ONE product. The FLIR ONE Pro features the following:
- 160 x 120 thermal sensor with 'VividIR' and 'MSX' image enhancements (more on this below).
- 1440 x 1080 HD stored image resolution.
- Measures temperatures from -40˚C all the way up to 400 °C.
- Adjustable height Lightning connector - so you can leave your iPhone case in place.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far can you see with a FLIR ONE Pro?
The FLIR ONE Pro has an 'infinite' focal distance which means you can see very far into the distance. As a rule of thumb, you can see about 50 metres with some accuracy. Objects further away may still be visible but at a lower measurement accuracy.
Will it drain my phone battery?
No. Power for the FLIR ONE Pro is provided by an internal rechargeable battery.
Will it fit in my pocket?

Can I see through things like walls or clothes?
Thermal vision is not x-ray vision, but it can sometimes seem like it!
This is because surface temperature can be affected by things behind or under the surface. For example, under certain conditions, the surface temperature of a wall can be subtly influenced by the wooden studs behind it. This allows you to see the location of the studs behind the wall without actually looking through the wall.

Resolution is professional quality and makes this thermal camera attachment excellent value for money.

Recommend buying from site -fast shipping and tracking.
There's a lot to like about this product. I bought it for use at work. Pros: compact and fairly easy to use. Cons: Its connection to the phone via lightning port is more delicate and/or arguably flimsy than anticipated - as in sometimes the device pops out. This issue seems reduced when the phone case is off, however that's not realistic most of the time (like when you want to keep phone protected). If the connection issue was resolved, I would rate 5 stars.
I bought this to help myself and friends make sure there were no gaps in our insulation - and it can do just that. But it can also be fun, like viewing the thermal imprint of your hand on a cold wall. This product won’t be for everyone, but it is easy to use and a valuable tool.
Overall it does what it says it does.
I did expect more detail or functionality in the software, but perhaps I need to purchase additional products to get higher quality.
For anyone looking for a reasonably good camera at a lower price point, this is probably a good place to start.
