The first involves leaving the electric blanket on high heat for a short period (say 30 minutes) to pre-heat the bed before you get in. The second scenario is where you leave the electric blanket on its lowest setting all night - perfect for cold climates.

Can I machine wash this king electric blanket?

Yes. Make sure you disconnected the power cables and controllers from the king electric blanket.

For a quick spot clean, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent on the affected area. For a more thorough clean, use your washing machine on the 'hand wash' or 'delicates' mode. In either case, ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting it to the controller. Do not wring or spin dry the king electric blanket.
