Works with Efergy E-Max (black) transmitters only
This Current Transformer (CT) sensor clamp is for use with existing Efergy E-Max transmitters only. It does not work with the white transmitters from older Efergy Elite and Engage systems.
It has an internal diameter of 16mm and can measure up to 120 Amps.
Add a CT or two to upgrade to 2- or 3-Phase
If you have two-phase power, you can buy a single-phase E-Max and one of these to get the number of sensors you require. Or, if you move to a home with three-phase power, buy two additional CT clamps.
Can I track my solar power with an extra clamp?
No, the transmitter 'adds up' data from its three inputs. So adding solar or anything bi-directional (like a battery) will not produce sensible readings.
