What is PAYPAL*REDUCTIONRE on my credit card statement?

If you have received a credit card statement with the payment or merchant name as:

• PAYPAL*REDUCTIONRE, or
• PAYPAL*REDUCTIONREVOLUTION

It could mean that you (or someone else in your family or company) made a purchase from our online energy efficiency store.

If so, it is NOT a fraud order or a scam, you may have just forgotten or not been told about the purchase.

Please check with the cardholder and search your email for the Tax Invoice and Order Confirmation that we sent you when your order was placed.

PAYPAL*REDUCTIONRE

Some credit card statements have an 18 character limit which means all you will see is "PAYPAL*REDUCTIONRE". It includes PAYPAL at the front not necessarily because you used PayPal, but rather because they are our credit card payment gateway provider. They process all of our Visa, MasterCard, and American Express transactions.

Credit card accounts or Amex statements with a longer character limit will make a bit more sense, like the one above.

If you have any questions or are unsure about a purchase please contact us and we can look up your order. Be sure to let us know as much information as possible including:

• The exact dollar value amount in question,
• The date of the transaction,
• The card holders name, and
• The company or business name, if relevant.
