Is it compatible with all stovetops?
Yes. The inner pot has a thick base which is appropriate for use with electric induction stovetops. It has an aluminium core for induction cooktop compatibility with stainless steel top and bottom layers. You can also use it camping with butane, alcohol, and other stoves. It is, of course, also suitable for regular electric and gas stovetops.
How should I clean the stainless steel inner pot?
Use warm soapy water to clean the stainless steel inner pot. Avoid using steel wool or abrasives as they may scratch the stainless steel. For any stubborn marks, use a stainless steel cleaner or cleaning paste, like Gumption.
Can I fit the 3L inner pot inside the larger 4.5L outer pot?
Yes - you can use the larger 4.5L Billyboil and have this smaller 3L inner pot as an extra. For example, you might like to use the smaller pot to cook smaller meals or for more compact storage of leftovers in the fridge. The two inner pots have the same base and width, just different heights.

The Billyboil is absolutely awesome. I am using it daily when camping. Set it up in the.morning, and let it do the hard work itself until we are ready to eat later in the day.
I even use it at home now too as we head into winter. Simply place all my ingredients into the inner pot, bring to the boil for 10 minutes and then place inner pot into the outer pot and leave my cute little kitchen billyboil to make my dinner

Have bought 7 now for family and friends two of these for myself,we all love that we can get the cooking started in the Billyboil then forget it ,no worries about stirring and burning.So nice when you have had a busy day and your meal is cooked and hot for you in the Billyboil . I bought it as a present for my daughter, at her request, so I'm afraid I don't know how it performs, but she was certainly delighted and thrilled when she opened the box, so I imagine it will deserve a 5 star rating.
