Unlike other LED battens, the enLighten Vico includes an integrated motion sensor. This allows the light fitting to dim down or switch off when no one is around.

The microwave sensor sits behind the diffuser, so you can't even see it. This design means the fitting can retain a fully weatherproof rating of IP65. It's also much more effective than old-fashioned passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors.

Note: The Vico Emergency models consume approximately 2W more in both modes. Fluro usage based on 2 x 18W tube (2ft) and 2 x 36W tube (4ft) fittings.

These Vico LED Battens with sensor are ideal for all areas with intermittent usage. They've been installed in fire stairs, car parks, and corridors across the country. They're an ideal upgrade anywhere you find lights that are 'always on'.

How The Motion Sensor Control Works

Both the regular and emergency models can operate in a standby mode with 20% light output. On detection of movement, the light will switch to 100% brightness before returning to standby after a set period of time. The time delay can be set to 5s, 30s, 90s, or 3 minutes. The fittings can then switch off after a further 90s or 3 minutes, or remain in standby.

Don't need an integrated motion sensor in all areas?

For areas that don't need a sensor we recommend you use one of our other LED battens. The fitting which looks the most similar is the Philips IP65 Outdoor LED Batten. On the other hand, our Verbatim IP65 LED Batten looks a little different, but has the same colour temperature as the Vico (5000K).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell the Vico options without sensors?

Yes - we can order these in for jobs which require 10 or more fittings in total. Send us a custom order request, and we'll be in touch. For most jobs we recommend you simply use one of our other in-stock LED batten lights.

Is the Vico available in 1500mm '5 foot' size?

The 5 Foot size is only available via special order. It has a power consumption of 44W standard, 46W emergency. A minimum order (100 units) and lead time applies (12 weeks). Please contact us to place an order.

Is the Vico available in a format to replace single tube fittings?

The 4ft 1200mm size can be set to operate in a half-power mode to match the brightness of a single tube fluro fitting. See the installation instructions PDF in the specifications table above for details.
