The EGLO Detect Me 7 motion sensor reduces energy usage in low-occupancy areas. It detects movement and switches your lights off when no one is around. Its features include:

PIR Motion Sensor - Detection Area & Adjustment
You can recess this motion sensor into plasterboard ceilings, office ceiling tiles, or similar. The recommended ceiling height is between 2.2m and 4m and it detects motion below in all directions (360°).
The typical detection area of the sensor unit
The sensor itself is adjustable for the time of operation and daylight sensitivity:
- The 'TIME' control is for between 10 seconds and 15 minutes. At the maximum setting, it switches off 15 minutes after detecting any motion.
- The 'LUX' sensor determines whether the light will still come on during the day or only after dark. It is adjustable from 3 to 2000 lux.
Both settings are user-adjustable. Pull down on the sensor to access the adjustment dials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this product include an LED light and motion sensor?
No, this is a stand-alone recessed motion sensor only. It controls other lighting loads connected to it. It has no in-built light source.
Does this PIR motion sensor include a manual override?
Yes. You can disable the sensor from your light switch. The manual override lets you leave your lights on continuously until you wish to re-activate the sensor.
