Hue Low-Voltage Extension Cable
The Hue Outdoor Extension Cable gives you the flexibility to place your smart outdoor lights exactly where you want them. Designed exclusively for the Philips Hue Low-Voltage (24V) system, these weatherproof cables allow you to bridge gaps between power supplies and lights, or extend the distance between specific Hue lights in your garden.
- Flexible Reach: Available in 2.5m or 5m lengths to navigate pathways and garden beds.
- Compatibility: Works seamlessly with all Hue Low-Voltage outdoor lights.
- Weatherproof (IP67): Heavy-duty construction to withstand rain, soil, and dust.
- Easy Installation: Simple plug-and-play screw connectors and safe low voltage, so no electrician is required.

Bridge the gap between your power supply and your first light, or extend the distance between lights.
Choosing the Right Cable: 2.5m or 5m
These cables are used to extend your 24V system. Depending on your outdoor lighting layout, you can choose between two variants:
- 2.5m Extension: Includes a T-connector. This is ideal for splitting the line to add a new light while extending the path.
- 5m Extension: A straight extension cable (no T-connector). This is best used when you need to cover a long distance between two points without adding a light in the middle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I link multiple extension cables together?
Yes. You can connect cables together to reach the desired distance, provided the total length of cabling connected to a single Power Supply Unit (PSU) does not exceed 35 metres.
Does the 5m cable come with a T-piece?
No. The 5m version is a straight cable designed for bridging longer distances. If you need to split the line to add a light, you should purchase the 2.5m version (which includes a tee) or use the T-connector included with Hue 'Extension Kit' lights.
Is this compatible with all Hue Outdoor Lights?
This cable is only compatible with Low Voltage (24V) Hue lights. It does not work with standard 240V AC mains-voltage lights, including some Hue wall and flood lights.
