This Beurer Nordic heated throw uses quality components and advanced engineering to keep you warm and cosy.

  • Luxurious Fabric - Lint-free, breathable microfleece that's snuggly and skin-friendly.
  • Six Heat Settings - From a low, gentle heat to high heat for a quick warm-up.
  • Safe & Energy Efficient - Automatically switches off after three hours of use.
  • Easy To Clean - The controller is detachable, and the heated blanket is machine washable.
  • Large Size - At 1.3m x 1.8m in size, it's more versatile than other electric throws. You can use it on the couch or as an over-blanket on your bed.

Heated Throw Blanket

This comfy heated throw is light grey on one side and dark charcoal grey on the other. Its neutral tones blend in well with most interiors. It's also available as a 'toffee' colour heated throw rug.

High-Quality Beurer Heated Throw

Certified Fabric. The Beurer heated throws are the only products of their kind on the Australian market that carry the OEKO-TEX 100 label. OEKO-TEX 100 is a stringent and independent textile certification process ensuring the use of no harmful substances.

Discrete Connector. Many of the heated throw blankets we have tested had a chunky connector making them uncomfortable to use. The Beurer heated throw has an electrical connector which is the smallest and least obtrusive that we have seen.

German Engineering. Beurer has been in business manufacturing products like this heated throw for over 100 years. Their innovations include the Beurer Safety System, a unique (and ultra-safe) construction method for the heating elements used inside these blankets.

Three Year Warranty. Most heated throws are warrantied for only one or two years. We expect this Beurer Heated Throw to out-last the competition, and it's warrantied for your first three years of use.

Easy to Use. The slide controller is easy to ease with six heat settings and an indicator light. It also includes a three-hour auto-off function so you'll never accidentally leave the blanket on for too long.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are heated throw blankets expensive to run?

No, quite the opposite! The Beurer heated throw blanket will cost you about five cents a day to operate. Yup, you read that right. Assuming you use it for about four hours a day on a medium heat setting, it would use just 0.2kWh/day of electricity.

The heated throw blanket gets away with such minimal energy usage because it heats you directly. On the other hand, most plug-in electric heaters try to heat the entire room around you (a much more energy-intensive and costly endeavour).

How do I reset the three-hour auto-off timer?

If you want to keep using the blanket after three hours, simply switch it off for five seconds. The timer will reset and you can choose your desired heating level on the controller.

Can I machine wash the heated throw blanket?

Yes. Make sure you disconnect the power cord and controller from the heated throw rug before doing any cleaning.

For a quick spot clean, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent on the affected area. For a more thorough clean, use your washing machine's 'hand wash' or 'delicates' mode. In either case, ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting it to the controller. Do not wring or spin dry the heated throw.

The heated throw blanket comes with printed instructions that include more detail on how you can wash it.

What other energy-efficient heaters do you sell?

Heating and cooling is the biggest energy user in most homes and businesses, so it pays to be efficient. See our full range of energy-efficient heating and cooling products.

Delicious, Scrumptious, Cuddly, Soft and Warm

This is a superb product. Soft fabric, a variety of heat settings and it is huge. Highly recommend for comfort and warmth. My grandkids love to snuggle underneath it as well. You won’t be disappointed. We are so happy with it.

Great for Tassie weather without the cost

This is a brilliant product. We have the heat pump set on 20 which takes the chill off and utilise the blanket to keep really warm without the cost of turning the heat pump up to 21 or 22. This is very cheap to use, effective and safe.

All in all its good.

When I first opened and used it I felt a bit disappointed. It feels a bit like two separate sheets with some wire between. However it is warm and uses very little power and I powered it off a battery with an inverter. I think how it is working so efficiently is that it is heating the air between the two sheets rather than heating you with wires. I really like it now. Gave 4 stars just because of the strange feel and stark feeling of the wire. If efficiently is your priority then it's a 5 star product.
