High-Quality Beurer Heated Throw
Certified Fabric. The Beurer heated throws are the only products of their kind on the Australian market that carry the OEKO-TEX 100 label. OEKO-TEX 100 is a stringent and independent textile certification process ensuring the use of no harmful substances.
Discrete Connector. Many of the heated throw blankets we have tested had a chunky connector making them uncomfortable to use. The Beurer heated throw has an electrical connector which is the smallest and least obtrusive that we have seen.
German Engineering. Beurer has been in business manufacturing products like this heated throw for over 100 years. Their innovations include the Beurer Safety System, a unique (and ultra-safe) construction method for the heating elements used inside these blankets.
Three Year Warranty. Most heated throws are warrantied for only one or two years. We expect this Beurer Heated Throw to out-last the competition, and it's warrantied for your first three years of use.
Easy to Use. The slide controller is easy to ease with six heat settings and an indicator light. It also includes a three-hour auto-off function so you'll never accidentally leave the blanket on for too long.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are heated throw blankets expensive to run?
No, quite the opposite! The Beurer heated throw blanket will cost you about five cents a day to operate. Yup, you read that right. Assuming you use it for about four hours a day on a medium heat setting, it would use just 0.2kWh/day of electricity.
The heated throw blanket gets away with such minimal energy usage because it heats you directly. On the other hand, most plug-in electric heaters try to heat the entire room around you (a much more energy-intensive and costly endeavour).
How do I reset the three-hour auto-off timer?
If you want to keep using the blanket after three hours, simply switch it off for five seconds. The timer will reset and you can choose your desired heating level on the controller.
Can I machine wash the heated throw blanket?
Yes. Make sure you disconnect the power cord and controller from the heated throw rug before doing any cleaning.
For a quick spot clean, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent on the affected area. For a more thorough clean, use your washing machine's 'hand wash' or 'delicates' mode. In either case, ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting it to the controller. Do not wring or spin dry the heated throw.
The heated throw blanket comes with printed instructions that include more detail on how you can wash it.
