No - FLIR Ignite is a new and optional cloud-based image backup service. It's free up to 1GB of storage, which is a lot of thermal images.
Alternatively, you can plug the FLIR C3-X into your computer with the supplied USB cable. Then you can view and download the images using your file system, just like a digital camera. If you use a Mac you will need to download this app to use this method.
How does the FLIR C3-X differ from the FLIR C5?
The FLIR C3-X is an excellent value entry-level camera from FLIR's Cx Series. The FLIR C3-X comes in the same form factor and shares most specifications with the FLIR C5. However, if you can afford it, the FLIR C5 offers the following additional features:
- 50% more thermal resolution,
- One-touch level and span,
- A wider temperature range (up to 400˚C).
