Control Tourbillion 60" & 80" Ceiling Fans From Your Phone
Turn any ELGO Tourbillion 60" or 80" ceiling fan into a smart fan by upgrading the internal receiver of the fan. The receiver takes instructions from your remote or the phone app and controls all functions of the ceiling fan. After upgrading your receiver, you can pair the fan with your smartphone and control features, including:
- Turn your Tourbillion on / off
- Adjust fan speed,
- Control the fan's light functions (for fans with a light),
- Set timers and schedules,
- Control your fan from anywhere in the world,
- Controllable via voice assistants such as Google Home, Amazon Echo & Siri.
How to Install the EGLO Tourbillion Smart Receiver & Controller
Start by ordering the Eglo Smart Receiver, which matches your fan type and size:

Then follow the steps below (full details in the Install Guide PDF):
- Get your new Smart Receiver installed by a qualified electrician.
- Pair the original physical remote to the new receiver. Pairing can be done within 30 seconds of the fan being connected to power or switched on from the isolation switch. Press and hold the "OFF" button on the remote for 10 seconds or until a beep is heard, indicating pairing success.
- Search the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone to download 'EGLO MyControl' or 'Tuya Smart'. The EGLO Smart Receiver is powered by Tuya's Smart Device platform so either app can be used.
- Sign-up to create a new account.
- Follow the in-app prompts and your fan's manual to complete the installation. You can now start controlling the fan from your phone!
