This is a 900mm (90cm) extension rod for our EGLO Noosa and EGLO Tourbillion 60 & 80 Inch ceiling fans with a titanium finish.
Downrods are used to lower the height of ceiling fans in rooms with high or vaulted ceilings.
- High Ceilings. Dropping the ceiling fan from high ceilings will make them more effective. Consider using an extension rod when your ceiling is higher than 2.7m.
- Raked Ceilings. Ceilings with a steep incline (and where the fan cannot be mounted to a horizontal cross beam) may also require a downrod. A downrod can give the fan better clearance from the ceiling or other building elements for these roof types.
This ceiling fan extension rod includes a wiring loom for quick installation. It can be cut to size by your installer if you don't need the entire length.
