Is a longer extension rod available?

Yes. EGLO also has a very long 1.8m downrod available (part: 203375). If you require these, please lodge a custom order form along with your ceiling fan requirements, and we'll send you a quote.

At what ceiling height should an extension rod be considered?

Generally speaking, an extension rod should be considered when your ceiling is higher than 2.7m. Dropping the ceiling fan from high ceilings will make them more effective.
