Black Downrod in Two Size Options

This is an extension rod for our EGLO Noosa, EGLO Kurrawa, and EGLO Tourbillion 60 & 80 Inch ceiling fans with a black downrod colour.

It's available in two size options:

  • 900mm (90cm, 0.9m) - consider using when your ceiling is higher than 2.7m
  • 1800mm (180cm, 1.8m) - suits very high ceilings, taller than around 4m.

Downrods are used to lower the height of ceiling fans in rooms with high or vaulted ceilings.

  • High Ceilings. Dropping the ceiling fan from high ceilings will make them more effective.
  • Raked Ceilings. Ceilings with a steep incline (and where the fan cannot be mounted to a horizontal cross beam) may also require a downrod. A downrod can give the fan better clearance from the ceiling or other building elements for these roof types.

This ceiling fan extension rod includes a wiring loom for quick installation. It can be cut to size by your installer if you don't need the entire length.

1800mm down rod

The 6ft downrod makes all the difference when installing the excellent Eglo Noosa fan. We needed this set up to replace our in-effective previous fan. The new fan and down rod are installed in our 'tower' ceiling. Works a treat and the LED light is very good. Expensive but good.
