Easily Replace R80 Globes with LED
R80 reflector globes are found in a range of light fittings, including:
- Indoor spotlights,
- Recessed downlight fittings with a screw (E27) base,
- The centre 'regular' light globe in bathroom heat-lamp fittings such as IXL Tastic.
Some example light fittings that use R80 light bulbs.
The "R80" refers to:
- R = Reflector style
- 80 = 80mm diameter
It's easy to check if your existing light fitting is suitable for this 10W Philips R80 LED. Just measure the front of your existing globe or fixture and check that it is about 8cm wide.

This Philips R80 LED bulb uses just 10W of power. This is about 85% less energy than a typical halogen or incandescent R80 globe. Old fashioned R80 globes are often found in 42W, 60W, 75W, or 100W sizes. You can use this LED globe to replace any of these globe sizes in most cases.
This R80 LED can also be used to replace compact fluorescent 'energy saver' globes. They consume around double the power of this Philips LED alternative.

Do you sell an R80 LED Bulb in Warm White?
No, but you might be able to use one of our regular Edison Screw E27 LED Bulbs (which are available in warm white). They are less wide than an R80 globe, but should still fit inside your existing light fitting.
