High-quality, low-energy Dimmable R63 LED bulb

R63 reflector globes are found in a variety of light fittings, including:

  • Dimmable desk lamps and wall lights,
  • Downlight fittings with a screw (E27) base,
  • The centre 'regular' light globe in bathroom heatlamp fittings such as IXL Tastic.

The "R63" simply refers to:

  • R = Reflector style
  • 63 = 63mm diameter 

It's easy to check if your existing light fitting is suitable for this Philips R63 LED. Just measure the front of the existing globe and check that is is about 6.3cm wide.

Aside from being dimmable, this Philips R63 LED bulb uses just 5W of power, which is just under 90% less energy than a typical halogen or incandescent R63 globe.

The LED R63 can also be used to replace compact fluorescent 'energy saver' globes which consume around double the power of this Philips LED alternative.
